General Conditions of Sale (GCS)

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between My Tropical Mood and any person wishing to make a purchase via the privateisland.fr website.

2. Products

The products offered for sale are clothing , fashion and decoration accessories.

The essential characteristics of the products, such as description, composition, size, color and price, are indicated on the site. The photographs and illustrations are not contractual and cannot engage the responsibility of My Tropical Mood.

3. Price

Product prices are listed in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (TTC). Delivery costs are calculated separately and are displayed before the order is confirmed.

My Tropical Mood reserves the right to change prices at any time, but products are billed according to the rates in effect at the time of the order.

4. Orders

Orders can be placed online via the privateisland.fr website, following these steps:

1. Product selection : You choose the desired products by adding them to your basket.
2. Cart Validation : Once you have completed your selection, you can check your cart and modify it if necessary.
3. Identification : You must log in to your customer account or create one if you are a new user.
4. Address and delivery : You must enter the delivery address and choose the desired delivery method.
5. Payment : You choose your payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.), and make the payment securely.
6. Order confirmation : Once payment has been validated, you will receive an email confirming your order.

5. Payment

Payments can be made by credit card or any other payment method offered on the site. Payment is secured by encryption systems.

The debit is made when the order is validated.

6. Delivery

The products are delivered to the address indicated by the customer. The delivery time is generally 8 working days, unless otherwise stated. Delivery costs are calculated based on the weight of the products and the delivery address.

Delivery costs are specified before the order is confirmed.

7. Withdrawal

In accordance with French law, the customer has 14 days after receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal without justification. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer. Returned products must be in their original condition (unused and in their original packaging).

8. Guarantees

All products offered on privateisland.fr benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, in accordance with articles L.217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code and articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code.

9. Liability

My Tropical Mood cannot be held responsible for indirect damages or economic losses resulting from the use of the products.

10. Protection of personal data

The data collected during the order process is used solely for order processing. The customer may exercise their rights of access, rectification, and opposition regarding their personal data, as specified in the privacy policy.

11. Applicable law

These General Terms and Conditions are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavor to resolve their dispute amicably. If an amicable solution is not found, the competent court will be that of the location of My Tropical Mood's registered office.

12. Modification of the T&Cs

My Tropical Mood reserves the right to modify its T&Cs at any time. The applicable T&Cs are those in effect at the time the order is validated.
